We aim to strengthen public knowledge infrastructure that explains risks clearly, makes uncertainty visible and develops scientific quality transparently.
The three pillars
Enable access
Free, understandable information about psychoactive substances, with sources, limits and room for corrections.
Planned: maintain educational resources and develop reviewed translations.
Learn moreMake risks understandable
Communicate harm reduction, interactions and uncertainty clearly. Essential safety knowledge should remain accessible.
Planned: deepen interaction evidence and develop educational resources.
Learn moreDevelop traceable quality
Literature work, expert review and documented data as a basis for future collaboration.
Planned: prepare review procedures and literature maps.
Learn moreProposed working principles
Essential safety information and educational content should remain freely accessible. Financial support should enable this work, not restrict knowledge.
Data gaps, different types of evidence and the limits of a claim should be understandable. A complete dataset alone does not establish scientific reliability.
A clear boundary between funding and editorial decisions is planned. This is a working principle in development, not a claim of an already legally independent organization.
Responsibilities, conflicts of interest, correction channels and reporting procedures should be published before operations begin. Progress should be assessed through traceable work.
Context
Target structure — not yet legally implemented
The following branches describe a proposal. It transfers no ownership and creates no existing legal entity.
↳ Public-interest work — proposed
Goal: education, harm reduction and responsible knowledge infrastructure. A gUG is a recommendation subject to professional review. Alternatives are a gGmbH or cooperation with an existing charitable project sponsor.
↳ Commercial activities — proposed separate operation
Technology, product development and commercial offerings where applicable. Separate accounts, budgets, contracts and decisions are proposed. The legal form and any IP agreements remain unresolved.
The Foundation currently names a planned public-interest area within Synapedia. Legal separation has not been implemented. Synapedia’s existing operator and privacy information applies to these pages.
